It is one of the oldest political ploys in the world. Old it may be, but it keeps right on working. The ploy goes like this. An (apparently) immense and dangerous crisis blows up outside the nation. Politicians galore scream about a great danger and then promise to protect the public. An army marches and an armada sails. There follows a stunning military advance to strangle the danger and to institute a regime in the newly "pacified" area which will be just as good as the one back home.

The general public, now scared out of its wits, follows each twist and turn with spellbound fascination. And while the public is fixated on the external dramatics, the leader quietly pulls a fast one. In this case, with the public fixated on the capture of Saddam, President Bush was quietly signing into law the most dictatorial powers act in American history on December 13th. Too often, our leaders cause us to look in the exact opposite direction from where they are taking really serious action. While people everywhere were celebrating the capture of Saddam, virtually no one was noticing that Americans had just lost their liberties and Constitutionally protected rights. Looking back on things I'm sure most people will remember the media informing us that terrorism in the United States was inevitable. We were firmly told that it was not a matter of "if" but "when". Informed and intuitive citizens knew that it wouldn't be long before an orchestrated catastrophic event would occur. Few Americans know that America's involvement in World War I was triggered by a deliberate deception known as the sinking of the Lusitania, which was a passenger ship torpedoed by a German U-boat that changed public opinion in America from neutral to pro-war. 128 Americans died and America eventually went to war over the incident, after first concealing that the Lusitania was covertly carrying ammunition to Britain, and that fact had been deliberately leaked to German intelligence to assure a suitable public affront to American dignity.

Many historians theorize that this period actually signaled the end of the republic, since the most important legislative act ever passed in American history, the Federal Reserve Act, gave control of the currency to private bankers, who have been igniting wars ever since for the purpose of making huge amounts of money. This process remains the centerpiece of the American economy, and is the reason you can bask in your self-depleting trivialities while the rest of the world forever mourns the millions murdered by the American war machine.

World War II was triggered by an almost identical process. Americans did not want to participate in another European war, but it's well known now that Franklin Roosevelt goaded the Japanese into attacking Pearl Harbor, creating the necessary outrage and support for millions more to die so the bankers could make money with that best moneymaker of all - all out war.

And Vietnam. Surely you've heard by now. The famous Gulf of Tonkin incident, in which the Vietnamese supposedly opened fire on a U.S. ship, never happened. It was a total fabrication that triggered 20 years of misery for all and killed up to four million people, but the bankers who start these things made out like the bandits they are. They even loaned money to the Russians who furnished weapons to the Viets just to prolong this profitable operation as long as possible.

Most of you still remember Saddam, the Iraqi stoolie put in power by the Americans, and, thirty years later, declared to be the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler. Our leaders said Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, so we bombed. But now we know he had no such weapons, and yet still we bomb. The bad perpetrators of 9/11 were hiding in Afghanistan, they told us, so we bombed. But when we had the chance to catch them, we didn't want to, and still we bomb.

The site, http://wtc7.net, backs up its conclusions with a devastating play-by-play of what actually happened on 9/11, and what could not possibly have happened according to universally accepted engineering principles. The official story collapses under scrutiny, the site insists. It lists five stunning assertions:

No steel high-rise building has ever collapsed due to fire, the site insists. And on 9/11, three of them collapsed in a matter of hours at the World Trade Center complex. The total collapses of the Twin Towers and Building 7 were (based on the official story) the three largest engineering failures in the history of the world, yet no federal investigation was ever funded. The evidence of the collapses was quickly destroyed. A series of explanations was promoted to explain the collapses, but each is ridiculed and debunked on the site, including killer fires, column failure, and truss failure. The site's conclusion: official explanations cannot explain any kind of total collapse.

Other curious phenomena examined were that the fires burned for 100 days, that the concrete was curiously pulverized in mid-air, and that the buildings fell so quickly despite following the path of most resistance, among other suspicious aspects. After presenting its evidence, the site concludes the towers were deliberately demolished. Which means the disaster could not possibly have been the work of Osama bin Laden.

The implications of the story on this site are enormous. They mean that the official story told by George W. Bush's American government is a total fabrication. There is no evidence against Osama bin Laden if the buildings were demolished. It has all been a lie. What this means is that George W. Bush is guilty of complicity in the most heinous crime in American history, the willful murder of more than 3,000 people and the destruction of a significant part of America's biggest city. And of course treason. There is no space to delineate here all the other charges of mass murder and obstruction of justice against this vain little demagogue who stole the U.S. presidency and now is raping the world.

Also guilty are Vice President Cheney and the entire Cabinet, the chiefs of staff of the armed forces, and many other members of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of the government, plus many other federal and military employees, plus many state and federal regulatory officials and private citizens who were either friends of the Bush conspiracy or conspired in its coverup.
